Cleaning a fish tank by hand is slow work. This electric cleaner does it for you. Its low-noise motor pulls up to 137 gallons per hour, so it draws gravel, sand, fish waste and leftover food out fast, while the filter net on the gravel head keeps your fish from getting sucked in. Swap to the silicone head to scrub algae and stubborn buildup off the glass, and the attached hose lets you drain dirty water at the same time.

The length adjusts from about 23 to 37 inches using the two included tubes, so it reaches the bottom of shallow and deeper tanks alike (the short and long tubes are used one at a time, not together). It works on water levels from around 12 to 28 inches deep.

You can power it two ways: the included adapter plugs into any outlet (100 to 240 volts) with a roughly 59-inch cord, or you can drop in two D-cell batteries and go cordless with no cable to work around. It assembles and comes apart without any tools, so cleaning and swapping heads is quick.
